2006 Publicity Awards, Scholarships, and Grants
Below is a list of Publicity Awards, Grants, and Scholarships available to individuals as well as local councils. Follow the links below to find out more information and download applications forms.
Challenge Grant Program ($300 Maximum)Eligibility: The applicant must have become a member of the Wyoming State Reading Council before January of the application year.
WSRC Scholarship ($500 Maximum)Eligibility: The applicant must be a member in good standing of the WSRC. The applicant must meet reasonable standards concerning scholarship, professional contributions , and other evidence of potentiality for future service. The applicant must use the scholarship to pursue graduate work or to seek an advanced degree at an approved institution of higher learning.
Local Council Efficiency Award ($50 Maximum)Eligibility: There are several eligibility requirements that a local council must meet. Please click on the link to view the full list of requirements.
Local Council Grant ($1,000 Maximum)Eligibility: There are several eligibility requirements that a local council must meet. Please click on the link to view the full list of requirements.
Celebrate Literacy AwardPurpose: To recognize organizations, institutions, and individuals that have made significant literacy contributions at the local, state, or provincial level.
